Applying for Membership for the First Time

If you are thinking about joining Haddenham u3a, but would like to discuss it further, please contact our Membership Secretary, Elaine Parkes on 01844 292184 or membership@haddenhamu3a.co.uk or any member of the Committee, who will be pleased to discuss our organisation with you.

The current annual membership subscription is £16.00.

Prospective members will be asked to complete a Membership Application Form.

There are a number of different ways to pay your subscription:

• Standing Order – this is our preferred method – CAF Bank; sort code 40-52-40; account number 00021010.
• BACS Transfer – CAF Bank; sort code 40-52-40; account number 00021010.
• Cheque – made payable to Haddenham u3a.
• Cash – we regret that we can no longer accept cash as it is becoming increasingly difficult for our treasurer to bank cash.

Renewing your Membership for 2024 – 2025

2023 – 24 Haddenham u3a membership will expire on 31st March 2024.

During March you received a personalised Renewal Form which you need to check. The form includes details of how you paid last year. If you would like to set up a Standing Order you can download a form (here) or contact you bank directly

If you decide NOT to renew, please also notify the Membership Secretary.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer and eligible to Gift Aid your donation, please complete a Declaration Form (download here). This will increase your gift by 25p for every £1 given, at no extra cost to you or us.

A couple can elect to Gift Aid their subscriptions individually or as a joint payment. The latter is preferable if only one payee is a taxpayer, as ALL of the contribution is then subject to Gift Aid. Thank you.
